The Balephi Khola is one of the smaller tributaries of the Sun Kosi and is a lovely tight boulder strewn stream river with crystal clear water.
The Bhote Kosi flows down from Tibet and is one of the best rafting/kayaking trips in the world, with continuous big volume and steep whitewater rapids. “Frog in a Blender, Carnal Knowledge, Liquid Bliss, The Great Wall” and many more which will have you feeling exhilarated when you reach our take out point.
The Sun Kosi has been described as one of the best white water trips in the world. Big volume rapids, beautiful scenery , warm water and excellent beaches for camping the river travels from the northern part of Nepal and it then travels east all the way east to the terai, the flat lands of Nepal. All the major rivers from the Himalayas drain into the Sun Kosi and the river volume increases, giving a feeling of power. You will travel through lush jungle, rice paddies and pass small villages. Monkey, deer and many species of birds inhabit the Sun Kosi river corridor.
