“Hi all, early Saturday morning Hotham kindly turned on some great kiting weather for nearly 200 new Snow Kiters to take to the hills and participate.

With up to 12 kites in the air at any one time and Mt Feathertop providing the perfect backdrop for the event, Australia's newest sport was embraced by all the newcomers.

Alex and Jonathon from Kite Republic joined me for the weekend and excited the students and even more spectators over the two days in providing top quality free snowkiting lessons.

Thanks very much to Alex, Jonathon for their great instruction, leading to all participants experiencing the thrill of this sport.
