“The 2007 year didn’t see lots of snow and thus not much water in Europe generally, so we looked for some small volume creeking, this time in Norway.
On the Jori.
After few weeks’ rain in June and beginning of July, we went to Norway and had heaps of water everywhere we went.
The Austbygd river.
It was really impressive to paddle rivers at super high levels, so we did some bloody good stuff with good friends of mine.
The Austbygd again.
We spent two and half weeks there, kayaking every day on many different rivers such as the Mar, Austbygd, Ekso, Gyost, upper Jori at maximum water levels which made things pretty interesting for sure.
Homerun rapid.
We wanted to go to Sjoa kayak festival and go hard during the famous extreme race on the lower canyon of the Sjoa but the water was so high that the guys from Sweet had to cancel the race but we did it few times and have really good time there too.
Homerun again.
So it was one of the best trips to Norway ever and here are a few pics, more are coming soon, no problems.
