Whitewater Nepal

We've created a new section called Partners where friends of ours can show what they're up to.

Have a look at what Georgia Le Plastrier and her partner Ram are doing with their business Whitewater Nepal, where they run everything from novice rafting, to first descents for sorted paddlers who want local knowledge and slick organisation.

Check out their page and great if you want to get in touch. See Kyme's Dirtbag trip to give you an idea of how it can work for you too.

The Lactic Factory

Australia's only bouldering only facility, this is the brainchild of Christian Mathieson and our home too.

The centre's got a page in the Partner's area, so have a look at what's there.

Constant Trek ...

Have a look at Paula Constant's expedition accross North Africa on foot and with camels. It is simply a huge trip and here's a pic of her looking glam for one of her sponsors.

Yappster

Boater Anthony Yap sent in some stuff about himself which is in the Profiles area and also a wrap of the National Kayak Championships that he and Sean Boz ran really successfully. That's in the Dirtbag area and there'll be stuff on their White Nile trip as well

Cavediving suit

Thanks to Brett Rapp’s love of cave diving, we’ve ended up with a specialist suit that he’s designed and tested under the Nullarbor and elsewhere. Custom made and covering your skin in 5 weeks from the time of order, it gets is own page in the gear area.

Free stuff we've got ...

If you've got a need for a couple of biggg ex-Army tents that could sleep about 15 people each, have we got a deal from you. You'll need a crew of 4 to get them pitched but once they're up, they aint going anywhere in a hurry. In fact they're way bigger and better than this one shown, so just give a shout if they could be of use and come and pick them up.

The cost? 1 six pack of beer (imported but your choice of brand).

A Rusty world view …

“Why do I kayak? Why do people eat? Why do people go to work?

He’s young, he’s waiting for the swell to pick up and he’s got things to say. Have a look at Rusty’s world view in the Profiles area and see why he’s not traveling the well worn path.

Timor Challenge

It was great to be involved with Luke Gosling’s Timor Challenge Adventure race which was designed to help the fledgling country. Teams raced across the island in an adventure race with locals and overseas teams adding to the experience for the best of causes. Luke’s tireless efforts resulted in his earning an OAM medal from the Australian government and the Americans chipped in a frigate to keep things honest. Not exactly a Dirtbag anything but some pics are in that section and a report to be added soon.
